Angel Garden Statues - Guardian and other Angels for Garden Decor
Angels have always been a very popular choice for statues, especially guardian angels, such as the snall one picturd below left, and the same applies to garden statues. For many centuries, religious topics were the impetus behind statuary. 
However, even in today's less religious environment in the Western world, angel garden statues are widely chosen. They especially suit the larger country garden, where the angel garden traditions have been long established.
Angel statues for the garden come in many shapes, forms and sizes, and using a varety of materials such as concrete, fibreglass, fiberstone and plastic. Some of the best are in fiberstone, sa this concrete and mesh aggregate is long lasting, and can be given a variety of finishes. So, if you like and antique finish or a worn look, then that is possible.
For something angelic but very small, the delightful peace and grace stone (left) could fit nicely into any cosy, shaded corner of the garden.
However, if you have a large garden, you may want to consider a very tall angel statue; something of more classic proportions. The fiberstone angels (below left) are a wonderful example.
Standing at over 5ft tall, these beautiful angels bring antiquity and grace even to a modern country garden.
Despite the more secular nature of modern western society, angels still have a valuable part to play both in symbolism and garden decor design.
