Marble Indoor Statues
For those of us who love statues as decor, let us not forget that they are not just for the garden. Indoor statues also have a place, and in fact some statues are not even suitable for outdoors. Marble, for example, can be used for some fine and valuable statues, but would not fair well out in the garden.
The subjects used for indoor statuary tend to be much the same as those used for garden statues. That is reflected in the classic Italian marble statues shown below; and of course, Buddha statues are very popular for indoors.

Marble is a very beautiful stone for statues, although for intricate carving it can prove difficult. However, the statues illustrated.
These are all classic figures, the first being a discus thrower. This is a 16 inch indoor statue, supported by a genuine black Cararra marble base to enhance its elegance further.

The second statue, also reconsituted marble and resin, is Hercules Farnese. This statue also has the black marble base, and at 13 inches creates an impressive feature for any living room whose decor complements such a statue. However, such classic statues will not suit every home.

The final picture is of a small reproduction of The Kiss by Rodin. The original is one of the most famous of sculptures, but this reproduction stands at just 10 inches high, suitable for a small table feature or large display cabinet.
